The mission of the Administration Division is to provide the people of Lake County with a consistent, high level of service in public works and contribute to the vitality of the region while protecting and enhancing the quality of life in Lake County.
The Engineering and Inspection Division is responsible for the design and construction of a wide variety of Public Works Projects, traffic engineering, transportation planning and consultation, and coordination with the public and private sectors regarding Public Works construction practices and procedures.
The Heavy Equipment / Fleet Maintenance Division is responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repairs of the Road Division Equipment and provides services to other county departments that utilize heavy equipment.
The Road Maintenance Division is responsible for protecting and maintaining 615.58 centerline miles of public roads, 125 bridges, and numerous major drainage structures in the unincorporated area of the county.
The Surveyor Division is responsible for checking and processing Parcel and Subdivision Maps and Final Maps of Records of Survey for accuracy and compliance with county ordinances and with the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California.
